Soft Launch at BABA
The team behind the Glaswegian Ox & Finch are opening a brand new restaurant in Edinburgh, centred around Levantine cuisine. The restaurant is located at the Principal Edinburgh hotel by Charlotte Square. BABA officially opens on 15 November but they are currently doing a soft launch - advance booking required. We are booked in for Saurday and cannot wait!
Innis & Gunn Sunshine Bar
Innis & Gunn is brightening up your November with a very special pop-up. Their sunshine bar is located at the Food & Flea market and only open this weekend. You can book tickets to the bar via Eventbrite - it the has hour entry timeslots from 5.00pm to 10pm (with last entry at 9:30pm). Be quick, because some of the timeslots are already sold out!
11TH NOVEMBER, SATURDAY
Italian Wine Fair
We have been missing the tastes of our Tuscan holiday back in October - this weekend's Italian wine fair by Bite Magazine might just be the answer to our holiday blues. The fair features wines from our favourite Italian regions including Montepulciano. There will be also masterclasses - book your tickets here.
Scotland v Samoa
If you are a Scottish Rugby fan, you are probably well aware that the Autumn Tests are kicking off this weekend at Murrayfield. Scotland is playing Samoa and the match starts at 2.30pm. We are backing blue!
12TH NOVEMBER, SUNDAY
There is only one week left of Illuminight at Dean Castle Country Park in Kilmarnock. The 1.5km trail takes visitors through the historic woodland and the wetland areas of the contry park, with light installations showing Dean Castle in a whole new light.
Have a nice weekend!
