What to do this weekend: 18-19 November
All the Chocolate
I don't know about you but I'm blaming the cold weather and shorter days for the increase in my chocolate cravings. Luckily Considerit Chocolate has just opened their brand new shop in Southside. They will be also selling chocolate and doughnuts at Stockbridge Market this Sunday. Meanwhile in Perth they are combining chocolate and gin at the Perth Chocolate and Gin Street Fest.
Edinburgh Art Fair
Edinburgh Art Fair is back at the Corn Exchange this weekend, from Friday to Sunday. Exhibitors include over 60 galleries - Alpha Art, Saorsa Art Gallery and Arusha Gallery amongst others. You can also expect artist demonstrations, talks and tours of the fair. Tickets are available at the door, but be sharp on the day.
Free Entry to Dynamic Earth
Entry to Dynamic Earth is free all weekend, including a visit to 'Unearthed: Explore the world at your feet exhibition'. Entry is on a first come first served basis, so arrive early.
18TH NOVEMBER, SATURDAY
Scotland v New Zealand
After last Saturday's win against Samoa, this weekend brings the second match of the Autumn Tests for the Scottish rugby team. The All Blacks are back in the 'burgh and I can't wait to watch their haka dance again. We're backing blue, obviously.
19TH NOVEMBER, SUNDAY
Edinburgh's Christmas Light Night
It's that time of the year again when we start using the 'C' word - Edinburgh's Christmas opens this weekend. They will be kicking off the festive period with Light Night, a free event running between 3pm and 5pm this Sunday. Did we mention there will be fireworks at 5pm?
Have a nice weekend!
