St Andrew's Day Free Ticket Giveaway
Have you booked your free tickets yet to your favourite Historic Scotland venues? The ticket giveaway is open until 5pm on 24 November and you can visit as many venues as you like during the weekend. We are booked in to visit Elgin Cathedral, the Dallas Dhu Historic Distillery, Huntly Castle and Duff House. What are your picks?
Christmas at the Botanics
Christmas magic returns to the Botanics between 24 November until 30 December. Visit the Fire Garden, the Choir of Trees, the Chrystal Lawn, the Beech Hedge and look out for Santa too. Make sure to book your tickets your advance here and why not combine it with a festive dinner at the Garden's Gateway Restaurant.

Vapiano Edinburgh is part of the St Andrews Square re-development, taking up a massive 3-floor space at the South St David Street side. We have been Vapiano converts since 2008 so pretty excited they finally launched here. Pop in to check out their unique concept and tuck in to all that delicious pasta and pizza!

- Beaverhall Open Studios: enjoy a rare access to a former chocolate factory while Christmas shopping and supporting local artists. The studios are specialising in millinery, photography, ceramics and much more.
- Patriothall Open Studios: meanhile in Stockbridge Patriothall Gallery and Wasps Artist Studios are also opening for early Christmas shoppers.
26TH NOVEMBER, SUNDAY
Grand Opening of Old Poison
Old Poison is opening a speakeasy craft distillery at the Biscuit Factory this Sunday. Expect limited first batch bottles, special cocktails, nibbles and music. The event kicks off at 6pm.
