What to do this weekend: 20-21 October
Scorrybreac at Little Chartroom
Little Chartroom of Leith Walk is teaming up with Scorrybreac from the Isle of Skye this weekend. For two nights only, they will be cooking a special six course menu with the option of paired wines. Just to tempt your tastebuds - the four chefs have previously worked at Castle Terrace together, which is pretty much guarantee for amazing food. Advance booking is essential.
Edinburgh Cocktail Week
Edinburgh Cocktail Week is in full swing and this weekend is your last chance to join the fun. Just buy a wristband to enjoy £4 signature cocktails at the Festival Square Cocktail Village and also at over 80 bars across town. Which cocktail will be your favourite? Mr Enthusiast loves a good whisky cocktail, while my faves are the fruity ones - he would certainly pick TP's Last Hurrah by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society Kaleidoscope bar, while I would go for a Poppy Seed Sour by the Voyage of Buck. Cheers!
20TH OCTOBER, SATURDAY
Our favourite neighbourhood cafe, 27 Elliott's is having a bread pop-up this Saturday between 10am-5pm. Company Bakery will be selling their amazing sourdough loaves, baguettes and rye breads. Pop in to taste Jess' delicious food and grab the best bread in town to take home with you.
21ST OCTOBER, SUNDAY
Edinburgh's Treat Maker Collective is celebrating their very first Treat Fest at The Hub on the Royal Mile. Exhibitors include Pinnies & Poppy Seeds, Mr Eion, Mademoiselle Macaron, The Pastry Section, Baba Budan and others.
Tacos & Antojitos
Edinburgh Food Studio is hosting Santiago Lastra Mexican chef this Sunday between 12.30-6.30pm. Book in to get some delicious Mexican food and spice up your Sunday.
Have a nice weekend!
