Hi, I'm Ildiko

Welcome to the Weekend Enthusiast! A collection of travel, lifestyle, restaurant reviews and home of the Edinburgh Enthusiast.

ALL WEEKEND

Free archi-tours by Cobbletales

Are you interested in architecture and Edinburgh? Cobbletales is having some test tours with a brand new guide for free. Book your space at the Old Town tour via Eventbrite.

The big NKD night in

We should probably be more organised, but by the time the weekend arrives we often seem to face an empty fridge. Last weekend was no different! So we were pleased to try NKD Pizza's 'big NKD night in' offer with two pizzas and 3 sides included in the price. We went for classic margherita and pepperoni and yummy chocolate brownies with ice-cream. Want to give it a try? They are based in Morningside and will open soon in Corstorphine. Bonus: they also deliver.

17TH MARCH, SATURDAY

Looks like this week's weekend guide is going to be centred around food as I have a few more foodie events on my radar:

Last Harajuku Kitchen supper at Cabaret Voltaire

Harajuku Kitchen has been popping up at Cabaret Voltaire in the last couple of months. As all great things come to an end eventually, they will be having their last pop-up night this Saturday. Book your table by calling 0131 247 4704.

Burger Pop-up

Thanks to @cazmonkeysaround for letting me know about this @bespokebbqs burger pop-up at Century General Store. Pop in for a delicious burger this Saturday between 7pm and 10pm.

18TH MARCH, SUNDAY

Glasgow Vintage and Flea Market

Meanwhile in Glasgow the Vintage and Flea Market is back at a brand new location at Saint Luke's and the Winged Ox. The event is also dog friendly so you can bring along your pup.

Have a nice weekend!
