What to do this weekend: 23-24 March

Edinburgh’s West End brings you a week long celebration of gin starting this weekend. Get your wristbands via Eventbrite and enjoy £5 cocktails and £4 perfect serves across participating West End venues.
23RD MARCH, SATURDAY
I Am Nomad Open House
Something for interior lovers and the perfect reason to visit Glasgow this Saturday: I Am Nomad opens her stunning home for the second time and you can shop some lovely furniture and accessories. There will also be a Farrow & Ball colour expert on hand - something we’re in desperate need of as I just cannot decide on the colour of the walls in our hall and the painter is coming on Monday, eek! If you missed out, keep you eyes peeled for the next open house event in summer.
Spring Wreath Making
Yes, spring wreaths are a thing! We’re just about to get out front door repainted and I’m so excited I can finally decorate it with a wreath. This wreath making workshop at the lovely Restoration Yard sounds like the perfect solution to get one created. Book online here - if you missed out, make sure to check their event list for the next few weeks as they also have a Mother’s Day wreath making workshop coming up next Sunday.
24TH MARCH, SUNDAY
DJ Brunch at the Ivy on the Square
The Ivy on the Square recently launched a DJ brunch series and I was kindly invited to check it out. I did not know what to expect, to be honest I was worried it would be loud club music which is not my thing. But the Ivy on the Square got the balance right and the tunes played during our brunch were really lovely and created a nice atmosphere. The DJ brunch is on both Saturdays and Sundays between midday and 4pm and you can book your table here.
Have a nice weekend!
