What to do this weekend: 30-31 March
Broughton Street Lives!
Our favourite indie businesses of Broughton Street are celebrating the end of the roadworks. Expect discounts, tastings, free yoga classes and even an exclusive Broughton Street beer. Just look out for the balloons outside participating venues - you will most certainly find us browsing at Life Story and snapping photos of the cute spring display at Narcissus Flowers. See you there!
The Canister Camera Club is popping up at Custom Lane this weekend. If you are an analogue photography enthusiast, make sure to visit. There will be also an analogue photography walk and talk as part of the pop-up.
30TH MARCH, SATURDAY
Events for gin enthusiasts
Gin enthusiasts will be pleased to hear there are several gin related events happening in town this weekend:
- The West End Gin Fest is still on, featuring a range of events and workshops. It’s not too late to get your wristbands via Eventbrite and enjoy £5 cocktails and £4 perfect serves across participating West End venues.
- Hendrick’s Gin will be handing out free samples of their new Midsummer Solstice Gin this Saturday between midday and 7pm from their floral phone box at Castle Street.
- Meanwhile the Biscuit Factory in Leith will be hosting the True OriGINs gin festival all weekend.
31ST MARCH, SUNDAY
CAST x Eden Locke
Enjoy a Sunday afternoon creating your very own silver jewellery piece at the beautiful Eden Locke on George Street. Included in the price is your finished 925 sterling silver CAST creation and a bottle of prosecco for two. Both @exploringedinburgh and myself will be at the event, so please do say hello if you spot us. Book your tickets here.
