What to do this weekend: 13-14 April
Plenty of Easter related activities are starting from this weekend in the ‘burgh, here are our favourites:
- Essential Edinburgh Easter Egg Hunt - keep your eyes peeled while in town, some special Easter eggs have been hidden by Essential Edinburgh with prizes to be won. The egg hunt runs until 22nd April and @edincitycentre will share hints for the eggs’ location on their social channels. Good luck!
- West End Easter Egg Hunt - Edinburgh’s West End is also running an Easter Egg Hunt. Collect your free hunt card from Peacock Ally at The Waldorf Astoria from 8am each day or from The Huxley.
- Easter trail at the Botanics - join the Botanics Bunny on a spring quest through the garden and collect at treat at the end of the trail. Pick up your trail booklet from the John Hope Gateway reception.
13TH APRIL, SATURDAY
Scran Street Food Festival
Dalkeith Country Park is hosting a family friendly streetfood event this Saturday. Vendors include Mimi’s Bakehouse and Sugar Daddy’s amongst others. There will be also live music and even a floral wreath making workshop.
14TH APRIL, SUNDAY
Sunday Classics at the Usher Hall
This Sunday’s concert at the Usher Hall will feature the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra - they will bring you the tunes of the brilliant composers, Beethoven and Sibelius. Check out the full programme of the 2019 Sunday Classic season and book your tickets here.
