6TH APRIL, SATURDAY
Beach clean at Cramond
Join the Marine Conservation Society’s (MCS) clean-up of Cramond beach this Saturday from 10am. Would you have thought that previous April cleans have resulted in over 4,500 items being picked up by volunteers in just 100 metres? It’s a rather shocking number. Read further info on the event here. MCS is also behind the Plastic Challenge initiative - you can get some easy swap ideas from @elsaannukka’s Instagram page and blog.
7TH APRIL, SUNDAY
Winton Castle charity open day
Winton Castle near Pencaitland is having a charity open day this Sunday. Expect bouncy castle, archery, falconry displays, Luca's ice cream sold from a vintage Bentley, tours of the house, games on the lawn, treasure hunts and face painting.
Have a nice weekend!
