What to do this weekend: 15-16 June
Starting from this weekend, the Saorsa Art Gallery in Stockbridge is hosting Soo Burnell's photo exhibition titled 'Poolside'. You might be familiar with Soo's work if you follow her popular instagram account @sooukdotcom or maybe you have already purchased one of her beautiful prints. Her 'Poolside' exhibition is showcasing some stunning swimming pools from London, Paris, Manchester, Edinburgh and Glasgow. You can visit the display between 12-5pm until 28th June.
15TH JUNE, SATURDAY
Classic Vehicle Show
Dear fellow petrolheads - you might want to head to Edinburgh's West End this Saturday between 10am and 4pm to check out their Classic Vehicle Show. The event is certainly right up Mr Enthusiast's alley and I'm pretty excited too. There will be a bunch of fab classic cars parked at the cute William Street - last year’s event even had a ‘Back to the future’ style 1981 DMC-12 DeLorean. It's also the perfect excuse to check out the lovely local businesses in the area.
The annual Union Canal Festival at Fountainbridge sounds like another fun place to be this Saturday - after a full week of rain we might even expect some sunshine, fingers crossed! Expect raft race, music, stalls and plenty of land-based and water-based activities.
16TH JUNE, SUNDAY
Film Fest in the City
In the run-up to the 73rd Edinburgh International Film Festival, Film Fest in the City returns to St Andrew Square Garden with free screenings. This Sunday’s movie list includes Brave and The Greatest Shownan. Check out the list of other screenings here. Fingers crossed for blue sky and sunshine!
Have a nice weekend!
