Donna Wilson Pop-up and Sample Sale
Custome Lane is hosting a pop-up of the celebrated Scottish textile and product designer, Donna Wilson. Expect discounts on past and current collections, slight seconds and one-offs from Donna’s archive, including creatures, ceramics, cushions, throws, clothing and accessories and other odd objects.
Edinburgh International Film Festival
It’s the final two days of the Edinburgh International Film Festival and there are still plenty of great films to choose from. This year there is a special focus on Spanish cinema, but there are screenings of movies from all around Europe and the rest of the world.
29TH JUNE, SATURDAY
The Tartan Blanket Co. Pop-up
The lovely local company, The Tartan Blanket Co. is having a pop-up this Saturday between 10am-5pm in their Leith studio. Pop in to get bargains from their sample sale, baby blanket sale and make it special with half-price embroidery. They teamed up with local online businesses Bunny Hop and Mamatot who will be also at the studio pop-up.
Cut and Paste - 400 Years of Collage
This Saturday marks the opening of a major temporary exhibition at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art focusing on 400 years of the collage technique. The exhibition features more than 250 works including pieces from Picasso. We were lucky to attend a preview of the exhibition and thoroughly recommend checking it out - it’s on until 27 October.
30TH JUNE, SUNDAY
Open Day at Tyninghame
It's the second public open day of the year at the stunning Tyninghame Garden and we are really hoping to finally visit it this Sunday with Mr Enthusiast. If you have the chance to visit the garden, don't miss it. Fingers crossed for sunshine!
