What to do this weekend: 8-9 June
The popular annual festival of Leith Late is back - the programme features visual art, theatre, poetry and live music. We recommend the mural tours which are free to attend but booking is essential - book here. Tours start from the Leith History Mural at the corner of North Junction Street & Ferry Road at 12pm and 2.30pm.
Yes, there is such thing as Architecture Fringe and it's on until 23 July. If you are a fellow architecture lover you should not miss this fest! The programme features various archi-events, including talks, exhibitions and installations. Make sure to register for events on Eventbrite in advance.
ECA Degree Show
This is the final weekend of the Edinburgh College of Art Degree Show which is showcasing the work of this year's art graduates at multiple venues. Pop into the ECA Main Building, The Fire Station at Lauriston Place, Minto House or Adam House at Chambers Street and Evolution House at West Port to check it all out. The good news: entry to the degree show is free and you can even meet the exhibiting artists in person.
Garden Open Days
This weekend’s Scotland’s Garden Scheme charity open days include:
- Shepherd House in Inveresk village near Musselburgh, open between 11am and 4pm both on Saturday and Sunday.
- Dean Gardens in the heart of Edinburgh with views over the Water of Leith. Entrance at Ann Street or Eton Terrace, opening times are between 2pm and 5pm on Sunday only.
Have a nice weekend!
